Deja Vu?

 Did you ever have one of those nights that seems like the night before? That's the way it was last night. It seems that Salt and Pepper haven't decided on whether they should start that clutch or wait awhile. I think this time I am going to give you a complete time entry on the night.

9:21pm: Pepper is on side branch and gone at 9:22
10:28pm: Salt on front branch, goes into box at 10:31pm
11:42pm: Pep on front branch, joins Salt in box, but just sits on perch. Salt does some begging and tongue clacking but is ignored.
12:42am: He is begging, finally Pepper gets off perch and they mate.
12:43am: Salt now on perch and Pepper is begging.
12:46am: Hissing and arguing, it seems Pep wants out of box, or the perch
12:53am: Salt is out and on front branch, Pep inside still begging (probably wants him to bring that gift)
12:58am: He moves to side br. and is gone at 1:14am. Pep still inside.
1:38am: SALT is back! goes in box, mates after a quick preen and okay from Pepper. but NO gift!!
2:08am: Pep pushes him off the perch and she sits on it. She does some wing stretches.
4:21am: She gets off perch and they mate; then Salt goes on perch
Pep wants out, she can't get by finally she pushes past him
4:51am: both gone
6:00am: Pepper is back on front branch but leaves at 6:25am.

These are the kind of notes I keep every night........hoping for a change in venue tonight :)
